Hyperpro BMW ESA - @juster
Electronics are getting more and more important on motorcycles. Even suspension is more and more equipped with electronic functions. These are to improve the easiness in using and for more safety and comfort of the bike. BMW is one of the first taking this serious by offering the ESA system on some of their high end models. It gives the rider the possibility to change the setting of his suspension in 3 pre-programmed settings. “Comfort”, “normal” and “sport”. Nice… But what if the rider thinks that comfort is not comfortable enough or sport isn’t sporty enough or sport is too hard too ride. As we know, every biker has a different feeling of the bike, due through experience, height and weight of the rider and personal feelings.
Hyperpro introduces at the Eicma-show the Hyperpro ESA adjuster, which makes it possible to easily change the three ESA settings into the individual wishes of the rider, without limits. You can make the “sport” position your own sport position and the “normal” and “comfort” position your own position. The Hyperpro ESA adjuster is a plug and play device. With de-installing it, the ESA will turn into its original setting.
The Hyperpro ESA adjuster is available for the moment for the R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure The R1200RT and other ESA models, including K1300 models will follow beginning 2010.
